What you get

What it does

01 · Search

Search with a specific plan in mind.

Extensive search and filtering across filing identity, sponsor and administrator, the balance sheet at both ends of the year, income, expenses, plan characteristic codes and funding arrangements. Thirteen operators, nested with AND, OR and NOT. Every field knows which filing years and form types actually report it.

For example sponsor within 25 miles of Cleveland, total assets (EOY) between $5M and $50M, more than 100 participants with an account balance, and a 401(k) feature — then sorted by reported fees.

02 · Benchmark

Put reported fees in context.

Every filing carries a modelled expected administrative fee for a plan of its size, type and industry, the difference from what was reported in dollars and in basis points of assets, a classification, and the plan’s percentile within its peer group. The model shows its working.

For example plans reporting more than $50,000 above their modelled baseline, ranked by the gap. It tells you where to look; it does not tell you a plan is being overcharged.

03 · Plan detail

Read one plan properly.

Headline metrics and sponsor information for any filing year, the fee benchmark with its explanation, trends across every year the plan appears, the full filing history including amendments, and the other plans under the same sponsor EIN.

For example a plan whose assets grew 40% over four years while reported fees grew 90% — visible in one chart, with the filings behind it one click away.

04 · Agents and API

Bring filing research to your agent.

A remote MCP server publishes the same capabilities as the app — the field catalog, search and export, plan detail, trends, filing history, related plans, service providers, peer benchmarks, code lookups and a fee-model explanation — to any MCP-compatible client, alongside a REST API with the same contracts. Authorized access is required.

For example ask your assistant for manufacturing plans in Ohio over $10M that look expensive, and have it hand back the filings it used.

Scope

Need verified contacts or a native CRM connection?

ErisaMiner focuses on filing research and fee context. It does not supply verified individual emails or phone enrichment beyond what the filings themselves carry. Use it alongside your existing outreach tools when contact coverage matters.

Where the numbers come from

The data

Every figure is a public Form 5500 or 5500-SF filing published by the U.S. Department of Labor through EFAST2. We load filing years 2015 to 2025 — 10 million filings — and refresh within a day of each DOL release. We do not add, estimate or correct anything a plan reported.

The fee model

The baseline is a modelled expectation of administrative cost given a plan’s size, type and industry. The difference from what a plan reported is a starting point for research, not a finding. A plan can sit above the baseline for good reasons, and a filing can report fees in a way the model cannot see. Every benchmark shows the inputs it used and the model version that produced it.

What we are not

We are not affiliated with the Department of Labor, and we do not resell the raw DOL files — the DOL publishes those for free. We do not supply verified contact data beyond the names and numbers the filings carry.
